Rotate PC Screen

It is a very easy way to rotate PC screen and back to its default screen. Now see this is a default screen in a normal PC–>

Press Ctrl + Alt+ Arrow key then it will be change like this window–>

Press Ctrl + Alt+ Arrow key again and back to its original view.

Change Temporary derectory in XP

When install a file or doing something with a file then its temporary file automatically stored in a temp folder as like *tmp format and whose directory is

C:\Windows\Temp

Users can easily change this directory by the following steps–>

Go to C drive or which drive install in windows–> Right click on AUTOEXEC.BAT–> Click on Edit –> Write down SET TEMP=Which directory users like for instance C:\DHONUK

Show all desktop menu in XP

There are many folder running simultaneously when we working in a computer. If we see all folder together in one window then just take the following steps.

Right click on the task bar–> select anyone (Tile windows or horizontally or vertically) item.

If wanna back to previous window then–>

Right click on the task bar–> select Undo Tile.

Hide System Icon Tray in XP

Windows system tray icon (as like-> clock, volume etc.) can be easy to hide by the following procedure–>

Right click on the task bar–> click Properties–> click customizes–> open customization notifications –> now there are three items (always hide, always show, Hide when inactive) available right side –> choose always hide –> press OK.

Change drive name in XP

Dear users,
It is very easy way to change drive name or drive letter. It needs some step which are in below–>

Go to Start–> Control Panel–> Administrative Tools–> Click Computer Management–> Click Disk Management.

Now, Which drive letter you wanna change just

click right button on the drive and select Change drive letter and paths. Finally its change the drive letter. However, user should always remind about that, don’t change system and boot volume name.

Give Password in a folder in XP

For the security purpose anyone can give password into the folder. First of all file system of the windows must be NTFS. If the folder is in a network and you cannot share this folder with anyone then this is the right way which i tell you now is very convenient.

click the right button on the folder–> click Properties–> click sharing tab –> fill the box (Make this folder private)–> then click Apply.

If there is no password available in administrator mode then there is a new window brings for get password–> give the password–> Click Create password–> click OK.

Windows function keys

There are 12 Function keys are available upper side in the keyboard as like F1, F2…F12. Each function keys has its own facilities.

F1: Open a dialog box which brings help menu.

F2: Its rename the selected file or folder.

F3: Searching file or folder.

F4: Its explore the address

F5: Its always refresh the windows

F6: It can detect desktop or others window menu

F7, F8, F9: These keys are use for dos mode.

F10: Its enable menu bar.

F11: In internet explorer this key toggle back and forth between full screen view.

F12: Open a new document in MS Word.
